Another wonderful post from Eye Prefer Paris. I already have some of the events on my To do list :) |
Dali
The first major tribute to the king of Surrealism, Salvador Dali, since 1979 is now open at the Centre Pompidou. This extensive exhibit shows over 200 works, which are shown chronologically in three themed categories. Also on display are rare drawings, photos, objets, and excerpts from film and television shows. The show promises to be a blockbuster, as the show in 1979 was the most attended show in the history of the museum, so be prepared for long lines. My recommendation is to go at night after 6PM as the museum is open till 9PM on most nights.
